Alva Jean Ramsey, 73, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Funeral service for Mrs. Ramsey will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Meadows Church of Christ, located at 9195 Dishman Road, Beaumont, Texas 77713 with burial to follow at Anthony Cemetery in Beaumont, under the directions of Mercy Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Isom K. Ramsey of Beaumont; her three children and spouses, Jeffrey and Marilyn Brooks of Stone Mountain, Georgia; DeAndria Brooks Cobb and Joshua Cobb and Christie Adams Smith and Tony Smith of Beaumont; brother, Ovie L. Randolph of Desto, Texas; grandchildren Janay Brooks, Kaylin Richard, Kindle Richard, Joshua Brooks, and one great-grandchild, Braxton Morris; and a host of Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends..
