Reverend Alvin Lee Johnson, 72 of Beaumont Texas gained his Heavenly Reward on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church  located at 2120 Renaud St. Beaumont, Texas at 10:00 a.m. A Public Viewing will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel with the practicing of social distancing and facial masks recommended, and Visitation on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 8:00 a.m until 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial Service will be held at Live Oak Memorial Park in Nederland, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; Matthew and Lula Mae Johnson; brother, Paul Johnson, and nephew, Rockell Hunt.

Alvin leaves to cherish his memories forever, his children; Jerome Rosette of Houston, Texas; LaWanda Coleman (Tony) of Beaumont, Texas; and Natalie Johnson of Houston, Texas; g randchildren, Traunce "TJ" Alfred, Travis Alfred, Serenah Coleman and Caleb Coleman; siblings, Curtis Johnson of Beaumont, Texas, Clara Jackson of Houston, Texas, Irving Johnson
(Pam) of Beaumont, Texas, as well as his former wife and recent caregiver, Dianne Johnson of Houston, Texas. Alvin will be fondly remembered by a host of other family members, dear friends and neighbors.
