Mrs. Betty Jean Lee Spears, 78, of Beaumont Texas passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services for Mrs. Spears will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Scott Olive Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1050 Ewing Street in Beaumont, Texas 77701, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home.   A public viewing for Mrs. Spears will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and a visitation on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Spears memories will forever remain in the hearts of her daughter, Janet Shedrick (Charles) of San Antonio, Texas and her son, Mack Spears (Belinda) of Beaumont, Texas; sister, Joyce Franklin (Jesse); grandchildren, Doninque Taylor, Charles T. Shedrick, Charlece Shedrick, Jarred Spears, Colin Wise and Joshua Edwards.  She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family members.
