Mr. Carl "Soonie" Lewis, 63, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

Celebration of Life Visitation Service for Mr. Lewis will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m., with the practice of social distancing and facial masks required. Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Memorial Service for Mr. Lewis will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with burial to follow, under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Mr. Lewis's memories will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Marcella Guidry Lewis of Port Arthur, Texas; children, Jevyn McDowell of Beaumont, Texas, Jalon Lewis of Houston, Texas, Jaya Lewis of Beaumont, Texas and Autumn Kincade (Emery)of Houston, Texas; sister, Sheila Lewis; Richard Lewis (April) and John Lewis (Erica) of Beaumont, Texas; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
