Mr. Delton "Doc" Harper, Sr., 56, of Silsbee, Texas passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 in Port Arthur, Texas.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Harper will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church located at 950 Hwy 96 South - Silsbee, Texas 77656, with the practice of social distancing and Facial Masks required. Burial service will follow at Union Grove Baptist Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. There will not be any public viewings.

Mr. Harper's memories will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Shelia (Arline) Harper; his daughter, Shanteria McMahon (Michael McMahon, Sr.); his son, Delton Harper, Jr. (Raquita Harper); his grandchildren, India McMahon and Michael McMahon, Jr.; his siblings Teary Harper, Winfred Harper, Sr., John Harper, Cecelia Jones (Derrick Jones), Lashawn Harper, Eric Harper, Zachary Harper, Chris Harper, Tracy Howard, Sr., and Dwight Howard; father-in-law, Leroy Comeaux; brothers-in-law, Calvin Tyler (Shuronda) and Tony Rodgers; sisters-in-law, Sandra Comeaux and Layo Robinson (Michael);and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
