Mr. Derrick Charles Cameron, 64 , of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

The Celebration Service for Mr. Cameron will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at St Luke Missionary Baptist Church located at 2710 Campbell Street in Beaumont, Texas. A public viewing will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and visitation on Saturday, April 1, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. The Military Burial Ceremony will be held at the Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:15 a.m., under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Lou Wilma Cameron of Beaumont, Texas; his son, Jabbar Obrien Cameron of Houston, Texas ; and daughter, Katie Charles Cameron of Pennsylvania; sister, Carol Brown of California; brother, Carl Cameron of Houston, Texas, and sister Deborah Cameron Jolivet (Jeffrey) of Beaumont, Texas; one grandson, Myziah Isaiah Cameron; two uncles; four aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
