Electra Compton's Life Story

Electra Vip Bethel Compton, 67, of Galveston, Texas entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Copperfield Rehabilitation of Houston.  Born to Allen Bethel and Effie Ollie Meadows in San Antonio, Texas, on January 29, 1955, Electra was retired Phlebotomist with UTMB and retail sales associate with Koles.

Electra was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Ms. Josephine Hall; sister-in-law, Lois Compton; and brother –in –law, Joseph Compton.

Electra Compton is survived by her husband, Willman Compton; children, Lonnie Kirby Bethel, Tammarra Shaire Compton-Hamilton, Willman Edward Compton, Jr. (Renee), Chazman Ray Errol Compton, Jasmine Jovina Compton; step daughter, Rachella Compton Fannin (Randle); seven grandchildren, Lakyria, Lanayia, Tylon, Toryenne, Tajah, Xavier, Randal, Jr., Raelyn; one great grandchild to be born; sisters-in-law, Bernice Billingsley, Marie Billingsley Octavia, Patricia Compton; brothers-in-law, Errol Billingsley (Lucidity), Benjimen Compton (Yolanda), Warren Compton (Cheryl), Vernon Compton (Amparo); devoted friends; Sue Simmons, Janice Turner, Nancy, Helen extended family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be 12 noon, Monday, April 25, 2022, at The Wilbrydge, 2702 Avenue L, Galveston, Texas. Reverend Dexter Henderson, officiating.
