Eura graduated as valedictorian from Marion Anderson High School in 1953. In the Fall of 1953, she attended Prairie View A&M University where she eventually received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics.

With more than thirty years of teaching at the elementary level, Eura positively influenced thousands of children's lives during their formative years by teaching them the fundamentals of math, science, English and history.

During her tenured professional career, she also worked at Amelia Elementary, Sally Curtis Elementary, Marshall Elementary and she eventually retired at Price Elementary School in 1996.
Mrs. Senigaur was a member of numerous organizations, including the Texas State Teacher's Association, The National Association Of University Women and was a founding member of the Jack and Jill Beaumont, Texas Chapter.
