Mr. Harlan William "Billy" Taft, 84 of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas.

A Memorial Celebration Service celebrating the life of Mr. Taft will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, under the directions of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Social distancing and Facial Masks are required.

The life and legacy of Harlan William Taft will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of his wife, Rita Hebert Taft, daughters, Kim Taft Willard and her husband David, and Jill Taft Roy and her husband Kevin.  He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Stella Leday Taft and Leha Taft. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, each of whom he loved like his own children; Michael Taft, Sandy Taft, Paula Taft, Penny Taft, Joy George Gauthia and her husband Erick, Sade Taft, and Charles Taft; and many great-nieces and nephews, relatives, close friends, and acquaintances.
