Ann was a devoted mother and a woman of great faith, with a spirit of creativity and service. She was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where she faithfully served several terms on the parish council. She was also instrumental in establishing one of the first Mardi Gras celebrations in Beaumont through the church, helping create a tradition that brought joy to the community.

Ann was a proud Charlton-Pollard High School Bulldog, graduating with the Class of 1956. She remained actively involved with her classmates long after graduation and was a dedicated member of the Charlton-Pollard Alumni Association, even serving a term as president. Her school spirit and commitment to her fellow alumni were a lasting part of her life.

She was known for her many talents and passions. An avid bowler, she spent years in local leagues and traveled across the country competing in tournaments, forming lasting friendships along the way. She was also a gifted seamstress, creating everything from everyday clothing to elegant evening gowns and dance costumes. Her work was both practical and artistic, crafted with great skill and love.

Her strong work ethic began with her first job at the Liberty Theater. She later worked at Baptist Hospital and at several schools in the Beaumont Independent School District, where she made a difference in the lives of countless students before retiring.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Jolivette Hebert and Walter Adam Hebert; and her sisters, Pat Taylor and Billie Mayo. She leaves behind her daughter, Trudy Monette (Dewey Cornwell), her grandson, Keenan Cornwell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She leaves a legacy of love, faith, and strength.
