Mr. James Lee "Fig" Hawkins, 75, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 Beaumont, Texas.

A Public visitation for Mr. Hawkins will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the practice of social distancing and Facial Mask required. Celebration Service of Mr. Hawkins's Life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Mercy Funeral Home with the practice of social distancing and Facial Mask required also. Graveside Memorial Service to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Mr. Fig Hawkins's memories will forever remain in the hearts of his loving children, Robert Hawkins, Alma Evans (Joe), Jessica Hawkins, Jammie Hawkins Venetia-Lamb Joseph, Jayleigh Hawkins and Semaj Hawkins; siblings, Robert Hawkins, Rose Lester and Joyce Hawkins; long time girlfriend, Chasity Newman; step-son, Davyd Newman; an a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
