Mrs. Jewel Haynes Lewis, 65, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.

Celebration of Life Visitation Service for Mrs. Jewel Haynes Lewis will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the practice of social distancing and Facial Masks required. Celebration Service for Mrs. Jewel Haynes Lewis will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday March 27, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Jewel leaves precious memories to: her siblings, the late Monroe Gill (who is survived by Betty Jean Gill), Kenneth Gill, and Shaunte Rideau (Jim Rideau); children, Keshia Deshotel (Derrick Deshotel), Preston Haynes (Kimberly Haynes), and the late Bryan Haynes; a stepson, Marquee Lewis; grandchildren, Kayla S. Haynes, Tray'von Haynes-Vallery, Trenity Haynes-Vallery, Courtney Woodside, Preston Haynes, Jr., Brandon Haynes, Ashley Haynes, and Denisha Haynes; great-grandchildren, Kylee Thomas, Alanna Haynes, and Blue and Gray Pitre; along with a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
