In Loving Memory of Judy Ann Perkins

Judy Ann Perkins passed away Tuesday February 27th at Baptist Hospital, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Born on December 30, 1947, in Beaumont, Texas, Judy's journey began at Barnwell's Community Health Home, welcomed by her late parents, James A. Cormier and Edna Mae Lewis.

Judy's life was a testament to her faith and resilience. After spending a few formative years in Dallas, she returned to her roots in Beaumont, where her spiritual journey flourished. It was here she gave her life to the Lord, an act of devotion that guided her through life's moments. In June 1971, Judy's heart found its match in Robert Perkins. Their union was a celebration of love and partnership, blessed with the joy of their son, Keith Perkins, and stepson Quincy Perkins.

A graduate of Charlton Pollard High School class of 1966, Judy's thirst for knowledge and love for learning never diminished. She found particular joy in cooking, sewing, and research, each a reflection of her creative spirit and insatiable curiosity.

Judy's presence was a gift to all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Perkins; her sons, Keith Perkins, his wife Shanell from Port Arthur and their Children, Raven Perkins, Keith Perkins II, Jordan Perkins, Justin Perkins, Jayden Fisher, Jordan Fisher; and stepson Quincy Perkins from Oregan and his children Quincy Jr, Ian, Breanna, Michaela, Jahada, Elyjah; her brothers, James Cormier and wife Yolanda from Big Sandy and Dave Cormier and his wife Mary from Beaumont; her sisters, Edwina Morris and her husband Robert from Dallas and Naomi Alfred and her husband Everette from Beaumont; and sister-in-law, Irma Dumont of Houston. Judy's legacy also lives on through a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends whose lives she touched.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, kindness, and grace will continue to inspire all who knew her, a true testament to a life well lived. As we say goodbye, we also celebrate the lasting mark she left on our hearts and the world around her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and live on in the memories we cherish.
