Junius "Billy" Reed, Jr., 87, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas.

The Celebration Mass Service for Mr. Reed will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel. The practice of social distancing and facial masks are required . Mr. Reed Entombment service will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park and Cemetery Mausoleum in Beaumont, Texas. A public viewing for Mr. Reed will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. and visitation on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a rosary to be recited at 9:40 a.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel in Beaumont, Texas, with the practice of social distancing and facial masks are required.

He is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette Motte Reed; his children, Maria, Cynthia, Juliana, and Quintin "Bub"; grandchildren, Merke Paul, Anais Nichole, Carmen Callette', Paul Joseph, Mia Tiana, and Avena Semaj; two great-grandsons, Thaddeus and Taamir; sisters, Juanita "Butch" Reed and Linda Scott (Williams); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
