Mrs. Karen Holmes Taylor, 65, of Silsbee Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Beaumont.

Celebration Service for Mrs. Taylor will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 19, 2021 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Silsbee, Texas (460 Bonner Street, Silsbee, Texas 77656) with burial service to follow at Kirby Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.  A wake service for Mrs. Taylor will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.  Social distancing will be practiced and facial masks are required.

Mrs.. Taylor's memories will forever remain in the hearts of her son, Damian (Sherrie) Taylor of Silsbee, Texas; her daughter, Brittani Denise (Justin) Fisk of Beaumont, Texas; her father, Sidney Holmes, Sr., of Silsbee, Texas; two sisters, Terri (Winston) Kibbles and Leslie Dodis; two brothers, Keith (Delores) Holmes and Sidney (Deshauna) Holmes, Jr.; three grandchildren, Shalyn Denise Taylor, and Dralyn Demond Taylor, both of Silsbee, Texas, and Yara Denise Fisk of Beaumont, Texas; special friends, Pamela Runnels, Deryl Holden, Paula Riggans, and Judy Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends
