Kenneth Wayne Jones, Jr., aged 43, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Jones, Jr., will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint James United Methodist Church, located at 2485 Blanchette Street in Beaumont, Texas 77701. A Public Viewing for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Jones, Jr., will be held on Friday, January 10, 2024, from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and Visitation on Saturday, January 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Saint James United Methodist Church. Kenneth Wayne Jones, Jr. was born on September 4, 1981, in Beaumont, Texas to Linda Syas-Jones and Kenneth Wayne Jones, Sr. He departed his earthly life and entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Kenneth dedicated his life to Christ at an early age. He was also a graduate of the Class of 2000 of Central Senior High School in Beaumont, Texas.

He was a dedicated worker at United Parcel Service for nineteen years.  Kenneth was loved by all who came in contact with him. He didn't meet any strangers. Kenneth was inclined to talk and ready to engage in conversation and enjoy it. He was a generous, loving, and forgiving  person. His mother said he would give you his last. He enjoyed riding with his son on Sundays visiting family and friends. He loved delivering to his rural routes for UPS. Kenneth loved his customers and his customers loved him. He enjoyed working out at the gym. Kenneth will be truly missed by all who knew him.

His survivors include his loving mother, Linda Jones and father,  Kenneth Wayne Jones, Sr.; son whom he loved dearly, Kenneth Wayne Jones, III, (Mother Brittney Renee Petry); stepsisters and stepbrothers, Cartona Williams, Glenndell Walker (Juanita), Howard Walker, and  Tonganika        Pierre (Joey); Grandparents, Donna M. Syas and Pervis J. Syas, Jr.; Aunt and Uncles, Donna G. Syas-Johnson (Robert), Pervis J. Syas, III (Traci), and  Wilton Syas, Sr.; one Great-Uncle, Allen Thomas, Jr. (Sonja); Cousins, Jackie Syas, Denisha Syas, Wilton Syas, Jr., Jeremy Syas, Pervis J. Syas, IV, Hunter Syas, Gavin Syas, Ridge Syas, Stephanie Thomas, Alana Thomas, Becky Thomas, Reverend Gregory Thomas, and Allen Thomas, III; and a host of other relatives and friends.
