Obituary for Kevin Keith "K.K." Guillory
Kevin Keith "K.K." Guillory, age 59, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Asher Point Independent Living in Arlington, Texas.
Kevin was born on February 1, 1966, in Beaumont, Texas, to Hennie Thelma Fowler Guillory and Lawrence Guillory, Jr. He was a proud Beaumont native whose roots and relationships shaped the man so many loved.
Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Hennie Thelma Fowler Guillory; maternal grandparents, Roy Hugh Fowler, Jr. and Mollie Marie Tatum Bean; paternal grandparents, Lawrence Guillory, Sr. and Emma Frank Guillory; uncles Roy Hugh Fowler III, Dudley Latigue, and Mark Latigue; and aunts, Shirley Guillory and Hazel Guillory.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Kalen Guillory; his father, Lawrence Guillory, Jr. and wife, Delores; his sister, Mollie Guillory Bryant and husband, Charles; his cherished nieces, Kennedy Wagner and Khloe Wagner; and a host of cousins, friends, and loved ones who will continue to mourn his passing while celebrating his life.
Kevin was employed as a Warehouse Supervisor with York Railway (YRC) Freight for nearly twenty years, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. From an early age, Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and, in recent years, reaffirmed and redefined his Christian walk.
Anyone who spent time with Kevin knew he was a true jokester who loved to laugh and enjoy life. He had a magnetic personality and a way of bringing light into any room. Kevin deeply loved his son and his nieces, who held very special places in his heart. When his sister Mollie could not be there, Kennedy and Khloe were always ready and willing to step in. Their Uncle K.K. was a bright spot in their lives, affectionately calling them "Lil Momma #1" and "Lil Momma #2."
Kevin also shared a special bond with his brother-in-law, Charles, whom he fondly referred to as "bro-in-law." Another of Kevin's greatest joys was spending time with his father—especially fishing, which he loved from an early age, and playing dominoes.
Kevin Keith "K.K." Guillory will truly be missed, but his laughter, love, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
