Mr. Leonard Trask, 61, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas.

Leonard's Story

Leonard R. Trask, 61 born 9/7/64 passed away on March 13, 2026 at his home in Beaumont, Texas.

Leonard grew up in Brusly, Louisiana (Lukeville). At a young age the family moved to New Orleans, Louisiana,   When he was as a young man until, he moved to Texas in 2019 and resided in Beaumont where he had his own business detailing cars.

Leonard was an employee of Spindletop as a driver. He moved on to become a custodian at Jones-Clark Elementary School where he worked.

He preceded in death by is daughter, Leonarius James; mother, Edith Trask Thomas; grandmother, Leona Moses Dudley; neice, Yolanda Brown; aunt, Mary Scott.

He is survived by his father, Leonard Trask, Jr (Deborah) of Texas; children, Dustin James, Tangineika James Dunham/Reese, Tammineika James, Leonard James, Evander James (Keychell) all of Plaquemine, Louisiana; eighteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; sisters,Yolanda Brown Trask, Maneiceia Thomas of New Orleans, Louisiana and Seantell Trask of Texas.
