Mother Lourita Alfred, 87, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in Beaumont, Texas.

A Celebration Service for Mother Alfred will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Lacy Temple Cathedral Church of God In Christ, located at 4090 Pine Street-Beaumont, Texas 77703 with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home.  A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church.

Mother Alfred memories will forever remain in the heart of her, loving husband, Elder Freddie Alfred, Sr. of Beaumont, Texas; nine children, reverend Freddie Alfred, Jr., John M. Alfred, Reverend Michael Alfred, Sr., Missionary Madeline M. Alfred, Loretta A. Alfred, Ronald M. Alfred, Emmanuel, Alfred, Christopher Alfred and Missionary Priscilla C. Alfred-Azore all of Beaumont, Texas; and a host of Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
