Ms. Marva Nell Spikes, 78, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont,  Texas.

The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Spikes will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint James United Methodist Church, located at 2485 Blanchette Street in Beaumont, Texas.  The the practicing of social distancing and Facial Masks required. Her earthly resting place will be at Live Oak Memorial Park and Cemetery in Nederland, Texas.

1943 – 2021

Marva Nell Spikes peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 3, 2021. She was born in Jasper, Texas and grew up in Beaumont, Texas. After graduating from Charlton-Pollard High School in 1961, she worked as a Beauty Operator. She went on to work at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church from where she retired.

Marva is survived by her aunt, Mrs. Opal J. Truvillion; three sisters, Peggy S. Colbert; Gaynell Lewis; and Jeanette B.Godley; 4 nieces, Timolin Colbert; Jessica Caziere; NaShonna Barnes; and NaPorchia Barnes; one nephew, Laron Williams; and 1 great niece and 3 great nephews.
