Mrs. Mattie Lou Bernard, 88, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 in Beaumont, Texas.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Bernard will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1395 Gladys Street in Beaumont, Texas.  The public viewing for Mrs. Bernard will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and visitation on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, with the practice of social distancing and Facial Masks are required. Burial Service to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bernard's memories will forever remain in the hearts of her three sons, Larry M. Moore and Randolph Moore both of Beaumont, Texas and Walter Bernard of Houston, Texas; three grandsons, Larry M. Moore, Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, Terry Moore (Leah)  of Prarrieville, Louisiana and Desmond Gardiner of Sunset, Louisiana; one great-grandson, Braxton Moore of Prarrieville, Louisiana; one sister, Naomi Buchanan of Beaumont, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
