Mr. Melvin Portier, 90, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas.

The Mass of Christian Burial Celebration Service for Mr. Portier will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, located at 780 Porter Street in Beaumont, Texas 77701. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 a.m.until 12:30 p.m., r osary to be recited, at 11:30 a.m. at the church, under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home.  For your safety, social distancing and facial masks are recommended.
