Mr. Monroe Gill , 59, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation Service for Mr. Gill will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the practice of social distancing and Facial Masks required. The Celebration Service for Mr. Gill will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday 12, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Dies Community Cemetery in Doucette, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Mr. Gill's memories will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Betty Jean Gill; children, Monroe Gill, Jr., Robert Gill, Noah Gill, Xavier Richards, Tameke Gill, Latasha Gill and Shameka Broussard all of Beaumont, Texas; siblings, , Jewel Haynes Lewis, Kenneth Gill and Shaunte Rideau (Jim) all of Beaumont, Texas; aunts, Lula Mae Mitchell (Reverend Daniel Mitchell) of Doucette, Texas and Marguerite Lockett of Dallas, Texas; uncles, James Spencer and Charles Spencer (Jane) both of Dies Community, Sellie Spencer of Houston, Texas and Joe W. Jackson; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
