Mrs. Myrtle Jewel LeFridge Goodley, 75, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Goodley will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Community Church, located at 5095 Pine Burr Street in Beaumont, Texas 77708.  The public viewing for Mrs. Goodley will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and visitation on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Community Church, with the practice of social distancing and Facial Masks are required. Burial Service to follow Celebration Service at Live Oak Memorial park and Cemetery in Nederland, Texas, under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Goodley's memories will forever remain in the hearts of her, aunts, Alberta Yancy and Jewel Brown; brother, James Green; daughters, Estelle Davis (Clarence), Misty Johnson (Chad) and Doris  Ruben; sons, George McKinney (LaShuana) and Anthony McKinney (Stephanie); daughter-in-law, Chasity McKinney; God-sister, Marilynn Davis; nineteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nephew, Richard Chase that she loved like a son; special friends, Carrie Adams, Barbara Jefferson, Betty King, Pastor & Lady Bruce Simien, Pastor and Lady Jeremy Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
