A Snapshot into the Life of Nicholas Roberts
Nicholas Joseph Roberts, was born on December 30, 1979, to Andrea Elaine Lawrence Cantue and Chester "Peewee" Roberts, Jr. Nick was a fun loving child who always had a smile on his face. Nick met his dad, Gregory B. Cantue while dancing in his favorite cowboy boots. Nick attended St. James United Methodist Church while growing up and even into adulthood. Nick's love of sports was ignited by watching his mother play softball at a young age. The love of all sports continued to grow throughout his educational career. While attending elementary school, Nick was introduced into the world of video games and comics. No one knew what those three interests would bring into Nick's life. Throughout Nick's life, he spent many days and many more late nights playing video games and perfecting the craft.
Nick was a natural teacher and coach. He taught several people how to swim, play sports, play video games and was a motivational speaker. Nick loved art and making his own. He loved to draw and be behind his camera. Nick would never consider himself a comedian but we all would have to disagree. Nick loved making people laugh.
Nick had several career adventures in his lifetime. He worked at Gamestop, Radio Shack, Sitel, Circuit City, Philphott, Criterion Security, Bureau Veritas and Am Spec., where he met several of his friends who have become part of his family
Nick loved his family more than words could ever express. He would often say, "Not all family is blood and not all blood is family."
Nick met his loving wife, Lisa while in high school through an online chat room. Their friendship grew into love over the next few years. After Lisa had moved to Texas, Nick decided it was time to take the next step and he proposed to her. They were married in 2010 at St. James Methodist church in Beaumont. They are each other's world.
