Mr. Roosevelt "Pluto" Allen, Jr., 63, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 11, 2026 at 11:00 am, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Chruch 3081 Hollywood St, Beaumont, Texas 77701

Roosevelt's Story

Roosevelt "Pluto" Allen, Jr was born on December 9th, 1962, in Pineville, Louisiana to Roosevelt Allen, Sr. and Jerrie Marie Martin. Roosevelt 'Pluto" Allen, Jr., entered eternal rest on March 24, 2026, listening to Golden Time of Day.

Roosevelt better known as PLUTO to everyone gave his life to God and was Baptized at the early age of five, he later rededicated his life in 1988. Pluto graduated from French High School in 1981. Pluto had a love for music and was a classical violinist. He went on to graduate as Salutatorian from Dolphin Technical Institute to become a license cosmetologist and barber. Pluto mastered roller sets, manicures & pedicures.

Pluto was a burst of energy and the life of the party. Pluto was known for his humor, being a mechanic, generosity, strength and never meeting a stranger. Just know he was a devoted New Orleans Saints fan and never left home without his hat. He also loved listening to Frankie Beverly and Maze and if you ever encountered Pluto, you know his personality and humor lit up the room.

Roosevelt "Pluto" Allen, Jr.; was preceded in death by his Father Roosevelt Allen Sr, Mother Jerrie Mathis, Sons:  Mister Roosevelt Pluto Allen III and Roosevelt Pluto Allen, IV., His maternal and paternal grandparents.

He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories: His wife Edwina Kirklin-Allen Children: Quatara Allen, Lawrence Stagg III, MarKeshia Marshall (Kenneth Jr), Joshua Chargois, Micah Rochet, Alicia Lewis (Kalen), Queneshia Allen, Quarissia Allen and bonus children.

Grandchildren, My'Unique, Brielle, Kenneth III, Alexzia, Kylin, Malachi, Andre'a (AJ), Marie, Ke'Shawn, A'Rissia and several other bonus grandchildren.

Brothers, Dr. Reginald Allen Sr (Ofreda), Byron Allen (Gloria), Lawrence Allen (Debra), Daniel Allen (Sharon's)Sister: Alicia Allen Bonus Brother Carlos Grant (Lisa) Bonus dad Ronald Mathis, bonus mom Carolyn Allen, Confidante Andrea "Angie" Ballard and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Roosevelt "Pluto" Allen, Jr. will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith resilience, humor and life, that will live on in the hearts of all that knew him.
