Timmie Lee J. Sam Bell "Timmie Lee" 81 , of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Beaumont,  Texas.

A Graveside Celebration Service for Mrs. Timmie Lee Bell will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Greewlawn Cemetery with burial to follow in Beaumont, Texas.  The practicing of social distancing and Facial Masks is required.

Timmie Lee as she was fondly known by family and friends, was born in Beaumont, Texas on July 5,1940 to Harold Jenkins and Mable Marie Terry.  She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Schools and was crowned Miss Blessed Sacrament before graduating in 1959. She married Lawrence Sam Jr in August 1959 and from this union three children were born; Kenneth, Tomasine and Kimberly.  While raising her children and nurturing many others, Timmie Lee worked as an LVN at Baptist Hospital. Later, she worked in retail for several department stores while volunteering with her children and assisting in community events. Timmie Lee retired from BISD where she was paraprofessional at Lucas Elementary.  Her commitment to others included active membership at St. Pius Catholic Church and regularly working at the polls during election seasons as well as multiple other endeavors.  After moving to Houston, Timmie Lee later married Andrew Bell who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her mother, father, and sisters. Timmie Lee is survived by her sister, children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
