Deacon Watson Buchanan, 94, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas.

The Celebration of Life Service for Deacon Watson Buchanan will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mercy Funeral Chapel (1395 Gladys St. Beaumont, Texas 77701).   A public viewing for Deacon Watson will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel. The practicing of Social Distancing and Facial Masks are required.

Deacon Watson's memories will forever remain in the hearts of his devoted wife, Naomi Moore Buchanan; brother, Wartney Buchanan of Reno, Nevada;  sisters, Evelina Buchanan Moreland of Grand Prairie, Texas,  Rosetta Buchanan Wade of Tracy, California and Leola Buchanan of Oakland, California; sister-in-law, Mattie Moore Bernard of Beaumont, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and church family.
